Logo Challenge Day 15: Hand Lettering Logo

Let me get straight to it, this prompt scared me. 

Day 15: Hand Lettering Logo

The main thing I didn't love about this challenge was how open it was. There were no suggested names, no business types, just "Make a hand lettering logo". I started with my name, then my last name, then my other last name but everything was just coming out my handwriting, so I decided this one was for the dogs, and looked to my dog Pepper for inspiration.

When It comes to hand lettering, I've dabbled, but only in the "analog" sense, pen to paper, but I've never digitized a hand-lettering project. I started out analog, sketching it out on paper, then recreated it in Illustrator with the pen tool. I'm sure there are better ways to do projects like this, but it worked pretty well!

The logo wound up being clean and fun! I'm definitely going to dive deeper into hand lettering, it's something I've wanted to do for sometime, but never really had a reason to do it. This challenge has really opened my mind up to designing just for the sake of doing it, and I'me really enjoying myself!
